Choose an experience on the Experiences page, pick a date, time and number of guests, add any extras and go to checkout. Payment is by card and your booking is confirmed as soon as payment succeeds.
Yes. There are no customer accounts — you check out as a guest with your name, e-mail and phone number, and your booking reference is all you need afterwards.
In full at checkout. Your places are held for 30 minutes while you pay; if payment fails or you leave, the hold is released and nothing is charged.
You see a confirmation page with your reference (format MM-XXXX-XXXX) immediately after payment, and a confirmation e-mail is sent to the address you entered. Keep the reference — you will need it for any changes.
Yes, free of charge up to 48 hours before the start time, subject to availability. E-mail help@medieval-masters.com with your booking reference. Changes requested later than that and no-shows are not refundable.
Most sessions run in light rain. If conditions are unsafe we either move the activity to our covered area, reschedule it, or contact you before the session to agree an alternative. If we cancel and no other date suits you, you are refunded.
Not for tasters, fundamentals, archery, armour or group experiences. Advanced coaching, participant tournament entry and full-armour combat are for trained fighters and say so on the experience page.
Closed shoes and comfortable clothing you can move in. Protective gear is provided and worn over your clothes. For armour sessions a thin long-sleeved top is more comfortable under the padding.
Everything needed for the session: training weapons, bows and arrows, shields, protective equipment and, where the experience says so, armour. Each experience page lists exactly what is included.
Yes, and they differ by activity. Combat training, tournament entry and full-armour sessions are 18+. Archery, armour photo sessions and most group experiences admit younger participants with an adult — the minimum age is shown on every experience and checked at booking.
Events (the Grand Melee, Warriors' Contest and Seasonal Siege) sell spectator passes to everyone. For training sessions, space by the arena is limited — check the experience page or ask us.
Enter the code in the promo field at checkout. Codes are checked on our server for validity, expiry, minimum order value and eligible experiences, and the discount is shown as a separate line before you pay. One code per booking.
Yes. Group experiences (friends sessions, birthdays, stag parties, corporate challenges) are priced per group with an included number of people and a per-person rate for extra guests. For larger or bespoke groups, contact us.
Yes — one-to-one and two-person coaching in longsword, archery and other weapons, plus fully private half-day and full-day experiences with your own instructor and arena.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. The safety briefing and kit fitting cannot be repeated for latecomers, so anyone arriving after the briefing may not be able to take part and is treated as a no-show.
Most experiences can be booked as a gift: tick 'Book as a gift' in the booking panel and add the recipient's name and a message. You choose the date, so agree it with them first or contact us to arrange a flexible booking.
By training with us. The certificate is our own internal record that you are ready for controlled combat; there is no fixed number of sessions. Spectating never requires a certificate.
Yes, we have ample parking space available for participants.
Yes, we provide refreshments to keep you energized during your training sessions.
